Frequently asked questions

How far in advance should I book you?

Your wedding flowers are likely to form a key part of your décor, so it’s best to get in touch once you’ve booked your venue and set your date. Many couples start planning their flowers around a year in advance, which gives plenty of time to develop ideas together – but I can often accommodate shorter lead times where my schedule allows.

Yes, absolutely. Flowers are at their best in their natural season, and we love reflecting that rhythm through our designs – from blossom and ranunculus in spring, to sweet peas and herbs in summer, to grasses and seed heads in autumn.

Wherever possible, we use British-grown flowers and foliage, and always guide you towards varieties that are both seasonal and beautiful for your date.

Very much so. Billow Rose is committed to nature-positive floristry – celebrating the landscape while protecting it. We use sustainable techniques, minimise waste, choose recyclable packaging and prioritise seasonal, locally grown flowers wherever possible.

Yes – over the years I’ve collected a range of vases, urns and candleholders, along with pedestals, plinths and fabric runners for styling ceremony or reception spaces. It’s always worth asking before you buy anything new; I may already have something perfect for your day.

We usually cover the South East of England, including Kent, Surrey, Sussex and London, but we’re happy to travel further afield for the right wedding or event. If you love our style, please do get in touch to discuss your plans.

Our flowers come from a trusted network of suppliers I’ve worked with for many years, including local British flower farms and high-quality wholesalers in the UK and Holland.

I also grow a small selection in my own cutting garden – ideal for adding natural texture, fragrance and individuality to your arrangements.

I personally oversee each project from concept to installation, ensuring every design is crafted and styled with care and consistency. For larger weddings and installations, I’m supported by a trusted freelance team.

To begin, please complete the enquiry form on our Contact page – it gathers key details about your wedding and initial style ideas. Once submitted, you’ll be invited to book a video or phone consultation if you’d like to talk things through.

Venue visits can also be arranged depending on your location and the scope of your flowers.

Our minimum spend varies depending on season and location, but full wedding floristry typically starts from £1,500. This allows us to design and deliver flowers that are cohesive, beautifully styled and tailored to your venue.

For smaller weddings or off-season events, we can often be more flexible – please get in touch to discuss your plans.

You’re very welcome to share images that inspire you – they’re helpful for understanding your style and palette.

Rather than directly copying, we’ll interpret your ideas through our nature-inspired aesthetic, using seasonal flowers to create something that feels personal to you and suited to your overall vision and budget.

On the day, we deliver your flowers in stages – starting with bridal bouquets and buttonholes, then moving on to the ceremony and reception venues to style and install your arrangements. Every detail is in place before guests arrive.

If flowers can be repurposed between spaces, we can return later in the day to move them for you. Our takedown and collection service usually takes place the following morning, allowing you to fully enjoy your evening without disruption.

If a particular flower isn’t available, we’ll suggest alternatives that capture the same look or feeling. Working seasonally leads to the most beautiful results – flowers that are fresher, more sustainable and in tune with the natural rhythm of the year.
